Program details — Open Mics
VGS Monthly Open Mics Our classical guitar and fingerstyle open mic night continues on the last Friday of every month at Caffe Fantastico starting at 6:45pm. VGS Open Mics create an opportunity for local guitarists of all ages and levels to meet and play for each other in an informal setting. It's a supportive and fun night aimed at giving everyone, no matter their level or ability, somewhere to play. Audiences of all ages are welcome to join for listening and socializing.
Enthusiasts rehearse together and perform throughout the year in outdoor and community venues.

Past Projects The VGS Ensemble has performed twice a year at VGS concerts, public and private spaces such as parks, senior homes, as well as at the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival once a year. VGS Outreach in Local Schools Book a free in-person or online presentation on classical guitar for your school! The presentation would include a short talk, slideshow if AV equipment is available, live performances by presenter(s), live performances by local youth guitar students, and interactive activities for the students.
